The Bergara BMR-X Steel is a precision-oriented rimfire rifle built for competition, training and serious small-game shooting. It uses the BMR micro-action with a match-grade chamber and a heavy-profile #6 carbon-steel barrel for maximum stability and consistent accuracy. The barrel is threaded ½-28, allowing the use of moderators or muzzle devices.

The rifle feeds from either a 5-round or 10-round detachable magazine, depending on configuration. A 30 MOA scope rail is fitted to the receiver, giving extended elevation travel for long-range rimfire shooting. Calibre options include .22 LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR, each paired with twist rates optimised for the specific cartridge.

The BMR-X stock is an upgraded synthetic design featuring a near-vertical pistol grip, a flat forend for improved stability on bags or barricades, and an adjustable length of pull using removable spacers. QD sling attachment points are incorporated into the stock for field use or competition carry.
