Focal length and sensor size work together to determine magnification and field of view. Longer lenses favour distance, while shorter lenses provide a wider view for scanning.

Rangefinding Technology
Selected HIKMICRO models incorporate integrated laser rangefinding for accurate distance measurement. Compatible rifle scopes can also use range information with ballistic data to calculate an aiming solution.
