Full Description
Balsin Stock Oil is made for the part of a traditional sporting firearm that ordinary gun oil should not be expected to care for properly: the wooden stock. Ballistol recommends the Light version for regular care and for bringing out the natural grain without strongly changing the colour.
The oil penetrates deeply into walnut and other natural woods, helping regenerate timber that has become dry, brittle or weathered. It makes the surface water-repellent, increases resistance to weather and helps protect against rot and mould growth.
Used regularly, Balsin Light restores a refined silky-matt finish and keeps the grain looking rich rather than dry or flat.
