Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting

The 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting is the competition-oriented version of Beretta’s enduring Silver Pigeon platform. It retains the strength and low-profile handling of the 680-series action while adding the barrel lengths, stock geometry and sighting characteristics preferred by sporting-clay shooters.

Its Steelium barrels and Optima-Choke HP system are designed to deliver consistent patterns and give the shooter useful choke flexibility across changing presentations. The Sporting configuration carries with a little more deliberate stability than the field gun, helping the barrels move smoothly through the target without losing the responsive character that makes the 686 so approachable. Selected walnut and Beretta’s contemporary Silver Pigeon engraving keep the gun suitably refined.

• Competition-focused Silver Pigeon configuration
• Steelium barrels and Optima-Choke HP system
• Proven, durable 680-series action
• Choice of popular sporting barrel lengths
• Standard and adjustable-comb configurations available
• Left- and right-hand options on selected specifications

For shooters looking for a serious first Beretta competition gun or a robust sporting shotgun that can be kept for years, the Silver Pigeon I Sporting remains a particularly strong all-round choice.
