The Bergara B14 Hunter is built around the B14 two-lug action, featuring a coned bolt nose, coned breech and a sliding plate extractor for smooth cycling and reliable extraction. The rifle uses Bergara’s 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel, fully free-floated for consistency and factory-threaded for the installation of muzzle devices or moderators. The barrel and action are finished in a protective coating suitable for field use.

The synthetic stock is constructed from a glass-fiber reinforced polymer and incorporates steel bedding pillars to improve action stability. The exterior is finished in a soft-touch coating designed to give secure handling. The floor-plate magazine system is integrated into the stock and the rifle feeds from an internal box magazine.

Barrel lengths and twist rates are matched to the calibre selected. The rifle accepts standard scope-mounting bases, as the action is drilled and tapped at the factory.
