Description:
The HIKMICRO ALPEX 4K Lite A40EL is the laser-rangefinding version of the compact ALPEX 4K Lite, combining a high-resolution 3840 × 2160 4K UHD sensor, integrated 1000m laser rangefinder and built-in ballistic calculator in a lightweight, conventional 30mm-tube riflescope.

Its 40mm F2.0 objective lens provides a wide 18.7m × 10.1m field of view at 100 metres, while magnification runs from 3.5× to 20.5×. The scope operates at 50Hz in 4K mode and can increase to 100Hz at 1080p, providing especially smooth imaging when following moving targets. Daytime detection range is rated at up to 800 metres.

The A40EL’s integrated 905nm Class 1 laser rangefinder measures from just 3 metres out to 1000 metres, with a stated accuracy of ±1 metre. It can also calculate horizontal distance, helping account for shooting angle when ranging targets.

Unlike the standard A40E, the A40EL includes HIKMICRO’s built-in ballistic calculation system. Using the measured range together with the selected ballistic profile, the scope can provide real-time trajectory compensation and holdover information. HIKMICRO specifically highlights the LRF and ballistic-calculation combination as an A40EL-only feature within the ALPEX 4K Lite range.

The high-resolution 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080 OLED display provides a detailed sight picture, with selectable Day, Night, Auto, Green and Yellow image modes. Its 45mm eye relief, adjustable diopter and familiar 30mm tube format help it retain the handling characteristics of a traditional optical riflescope.

The A40EL also supports recoil-activated recording, on-board video recording with audio, photo capture, Picture-in-Picture, freeze zeroing, five zeroing profiles and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity. Recorded footage is stored on 32GB of internal EMMC memory.

Power comes from a combination of an internal rechargeable lithium battery and a replaceable rechargeable 18650 external battery, providing up to approximately 7 hours of continuous operation at 25°C with the hotspot switched off. The scope is rated to withstand recoil up to 1000g / 0.4ms and carries an IP67 weather-resistance rating.

At approximately 474g without the external battery, the ALPEX 4K Lite A40EL combines 4K day/night imaging, 1000m laser rangefinding and ballistic calculation in a relatively compact package, making it particularly well suited to shooters who want ranging and trajectory information integrated directly into the sight.
