Description:
The HIKMICRO FALCON 2.0 FQ50 is a high-performance long-range thermal monocular built around a 640 × 512, 12μm thermal sensor with exceptional <15 mK NETD sensitivity. Paired with a fast 50mm F0.9 lens, it delivers excellent thermal detail, strong contrast and reliable target definition in difficult weather and low thermal contrast.

With 2.7× base magnification and a detection range of up to 2600 metres, the FQ50 2.0 is designed for longer-range observation across open ground. Its field of view measures 15.4m × 12.2m at 100 metres, while digital magnification extends up to 21.6× for closer inspection of distant heat sources.

The fast F0.9 aperture allows more thermal energy to reach the detector than a conventional F1.0 optic, helping the monocular maintain image quality in demanding environmental conditions. Rear-wheel focusing allows fine focus adjustment while keeping a natural one-handed grip.

HIKMICRO’s HSIS – HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System provides smoother continuous thermal viewing without the regular image freezes associated with traditional shutter-based calibration. Image Pro 2.0 enhances overall image rendering, while Zoom Pro helps preserve useful detail when digitally magnifying the image.

The thermal image is viewed through a high-resolution 0.49-inch 1920 × 1080 OLED display, offering a significant step up in viewing resolution compared with earlier FALCON models. Six selectable colour palettes are available, including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome and Green Monochrome.

The FQ50 2.0 also includes photo and video recording with audio, Picture-in-Picture, Hot Track, distance measurement, local album playback, dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi and 64GB of built-in storage.

Power is supplied by a replaceable rechargeable 21700 battery, providing at least 6.5 hours of continuous operation at 25°C with Wi-Fi and Zoom Pro enabled. USB-C supports direct charging and external power, while the IP67-rated housing is designed for reliable outdoor use in demanding conditions.
