Description:
The HIKMICRO STELLAR 3.0 SX60LS sits at the top of the STELLAR range, combining an exceptional 1280 × 1024, 12μm thermal sensor, ultra-sensitive <15 mK NETD, a large 60mm F1.0 objective lens and a fast 50Hz refresh rate. This new high-frame-rate model delivers exceptionally detailed and fluid thermal imaging for demanding long-range use.

The 1280px detector provides four times the pixel count of a 640 × 512 thermal sensor, allowing significantly more native detail to be retained when identifying animals and examining distant targets. HIKMICRO pairs the sensor with its latest Image Pro 3.0 processing, helping reveal fine detail in the target and surrounding landscape even in poor weather or low thermal contrast.

Its 60mm F1.0 lens gives the SX60LS an impressive thermal detection range of up to 3100 metres, while the exceptionally high-resolution sensor allows it to retain a surprisingly wide 25.6m × 20.5m field of view at 100 metres. Base magnification starts at just 2.5× and extends to 28.5×, giving the scope an unusual combination of wide scanning ability and serious long-range capability.

A key difference between the SX60LS and the original SX60L is the upgraded 50Hz 1280 × 1024 thermal detector. The earlier SX60L operates at 25Hz, whereas the SX60LS doubles the refresh rate to 50Hz while also improving thermal sensitivity to <15 mK, producing noticeably smoother imagery when tracking moving targets or panning across the landscape.

The image is displayed through a huge 1.03-inch 2560 × 2560 OLED display, providing an exceptionally detailed and immersive sight picture. This large display complements the 1280px thermal sensor and makes it easier to take advantage of the additional image detail available from the high-resolution detector.

The SX60LS features HIKMICRO’s in-lens laser rangefinder, maintaining the conventional tubular scope profile while measuring targets from approximately 10 metres to 1000 metres. The 905nm Class 1 LRF has a stated accuracy of ±1 metre and operates along the same optical axis as the sight picture.

A built-in ballistic calculator can use the measured distance together with a selected ballistic profile to provide trajectory compensation and an adjusted aiming point. This combination of integrated ranging and ballistic calculation allows ranging and trajectory information to be handled directly within the scope.

The SX60LS also includes on-board video recording, audio recording, recoil-activated recording, photo capture, Picture-in-Picture, local album playback, Wi-Fi connectivity, five zeroing profiles and 64GB of internal EMMC storage. It is rated to withstand recoil up to 1000g / 0.4ms.

Power is supplied by two internal rechargeable lithium batteries and a replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery, providing approximately 6.5 hours of continuous operation. The scope uses a conventional 30mm mounting tube, is IP67 rated, and is designed to operate in temperatures from -30°C to +55°C.
