MAUSER 25 Max

MAUSER 25 Max

MAUSER positions the 25 Max around three things: speed, control and a highly stable laminated stock. Unlike a conventional turn-bolt rifle, the MAUSER 25 uses a straight-pull action designed for rapid, fluid cycling while keeping the rifle firmly mounted. The Max variant adds a laminated beech thumbhole stock that gives the shooting hand a relaxed, repeatable position and resists warping when conditions turn wet or cold.

It is a modern hunting rifle rather than a tactical chassis gun: the stock has the warmth and solidity of wood, but the laminate construction is deliberately chosen for strength and dimensional stability. In .308 Win with a 51 cm barrel, MAUSER quotes an overall length of approximately 100 cm and weight around 3.6 kg.
