Description:
The HIKMICRO ALPEX PRO A50P is HIKMICRO’s latest premium digital day and night riflescope, built around a new 4512 × 2512 12MP sensor and a fast 50mm F1.8 lens. The higher-resolution sensor provides approximately 45% more pixels than a conventional 4K sensor, producing exceptionally detailed daytime imagery while also improving target definition in fading light.

At the heart of the ALPEX PRO is HIKMICRO’s new Light Pro imaging algorithm. It automatically optimises exposure and image processing as light levels fall, significantly improving brightness, contrast and signal-to-noise performance at dawn, dusk and at night. HIKMICRO states that the Light Pro system can deliver brightness performance equivalent to an F0.9 optical system, while substantially improving low-light image quality.

The A50P uses a 50mm F1.8 objective lens and provides 4.0× base magnification, extending to 24×, with fine 0.1× continuous zoom adjustment. Its field of view measures 12.6m × 7m at 100 metres, while daytime detection range extends to approximately 1500 metres.

A major upgrade over previous ALPEX models is the larger 0.6-inch 1920 × 1080 AMOLED display. HIKMICRO has increased the viewing area by approximately 22%, helping reduce the tunnel effect and providing a more immersive image during extended observation. The scope also supports 2.3× lossless magnification, helping retain fine detail at higher zoom levels.

The ALPEX PRO operates at 50Hz at full 12MP resolution and supports 120Hz operation at 1080p, providing exceptionally smooth movement when tracking animals or rapidly changing the sight picture.

The redesigned controls have been developed to feel more like a conventional optical riflescope. A side-mounted focus wheel and rear zoom control with an enlarged lever allow fast adjustment without taking the rifle out of position, while the standard 30mm tube means the scope can be mounted using conventional scope rings.

The A50P includes on-board video recording, audio recording, recoil-activated recording, photo capture, Picture-in-Picture, freeze zeroing, five zeroing profiles, Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity and 64GB of built-in EMMC storage. It also features a rapid 3-second start-up and instant local album playback for reviewing recorded footage in the field.

Power is supplied by two internal rechargeable lithium batteries together with one replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery, delivering up to approximately 7 hours of continuous operation at 25°C with the hotspot disabled. The external battery can be swapped in the field for extended use.

At approximately 852g including the external battery, the A50P is considerably lighter than the previous ALPEX 4K platform. It is also IP67 rated, operates from -30°C to +55°C and is rated to withstand recoil up to 1000g / 0.4ms.

Unlike the A50PL, the A50P is the streamlined imaging-focused model and does not include an integrated laser rangefinder or ballistic calculator. For shooters who prioritise the highest possible digital image quality, particularly during dawn, dusk and other challenging low-light conditions, the ALPEX PRO A50P represents HIKMICRO’s most advanced non-LRF digital riflescope.
