The 103 Skinner is one of Buck’s long-standing 100 Series designs, and its purpose is immediately obvious when you look at the blade. The extra-wide 4-inch profile carries a generous curved edge, allowing long, efficient strokes when removing hide while keeping the point from dominating the cut.
Buck has refined the materials over the decades, but the working idea remains essentially unchanged: Bos heat-treated 420HC stainless steel, a durable black phenolic handle, aluminium guard and pommel, and a shape built to perform rather than follow trends.
